IKEA CEO congratulated Swedspan Girių Bizonas
On 4 October, Mikael Ohlsson, the CEO of Swedish furniture company IKEA the company which owns the main concern Swedspan for which Swedspan Girių Bizonas belongs, paid a visit to Kazlų Rūda. The CEO of IKEA has come here to get acquainted with the Swedspan division performing its activity in Lithuania.
It was the first visit of M. Ohlsson in Swedspan Girių Bizonas; therefore, the guest needed to see and evaluate a lot. It has been an intensive visit. First of all, the company showed its presentation where the most recent achievements, current situation and the nearest future plans were presented by Regina Zasienė, the Managing Director.
During the presentation a lot of attention was paid to the discussion of the last financial year, which was very successful. Mikael Ohlsson paid Swedspan Girių Bizonas team great compliments.
Later, an excursion around the plant's territory was held. The CEO of IKEA has gained an impression of the environment of Swedspan Girių Bizonas as a neat and tidy place. Swedspan Girių Bizonas is a very significant part in the chain of our company group; therefore, I'm very pleased with the development of this particle board plant' – the CEO of IKEA said on parting.
